Happiness House has been a warm, open door in the Whakatipu for 35 years. Founded by Patricia Bird, who quite literally opened up her home to support people in our community, we’ve always believed that everyone deserves somewhere to turn for help, connection, and belonging. That home-like warmth is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s exactly what we’re looking to carry into our next chapter.
With our current lease ending in 2028, we’ve started planning for where we go next, and we’d love your ideas, your local knowledge, and your connections.
Join us for an evening of kōrero, connection and ideas as we share what we’ve been exploring and ask for your help shaping what comes next. This isn’t a fundraiser. It’s a chance to be part of the next chapter.
