Cook Around the World – Chile
Join us at Happiness House as we kick off the year of Cook Around the World with a hands on Chilean cooking session. This is all about coming together through kai (food), culture, and connection.
What to expect
From 10am – 12pm we will cook together, learning how to make Chilean empanadas! This is a shared experience, so expect to get involved chopping, cooking, chatting, and yes, tidying up together too.
From 12pm – 1pm we will sit down to enjoy the food we have made and spend time connecting.
A shared cooking experience
Cook Around the World is not a cooking class you watch, it is one you take part in. It is about cultural exchange, meeting new people, sharing stories, and building whanaungatanga (relationships) through food.
You do not need to be an experienced cook, just open to joining in and giving things a go.
